Les Essentiels du Cuisinier offers a set of four small knives that are essential for preparing good food every day:
- the paring knife: a versatile 10 cm blade
- the notched knife: a 10 cm micro-serrated blade
- the vegetable knife: a 7 cm bird's beak blade
- the peeler: a small 6 cm blade
All the blades are made of stainless steel, and the handles of hornbeam wood.
The Primo set, made in France, features the three fundamental colours for a sophisticated contrast.
The vegetable knife has a fine blade ideal for precise, delicate tasks such as peeling, garnishing and carving fruit and vegetables, but is not suitable for slicing large, hard-skinned vegetables such as squash or celeriac.
